Participation in basketball involves inherent risks, including but not limited to slips, falls, collisions, and potential injuries. By joining Coastal Ballers games, all participants acknowledge and accept these risks as part of the activity.
2. Player Responsibility
Each player is responsible for their own health, fitness, and wellbeing. Players should not participate if they are injured, unwell, or otherwise unable to play safely. It is the responsibility of every participant to ensure they have adequate health or personal insurance coverage.
3. Safe Conduct
Players are expected to act in a safe and respectful manner at all times. Dangerous play, aggressive behaviour, or conduct that may increase the risk of injury will not be tolerated.
4. Venue & Equipment
While Coastal Ballers and the venue aim to provide a safe playing environment, accidents may still occur. Coastal Ballers and Goodlife Community Centre accept no liability for injuries, accidents, or personal property loss sustained during participation.
5. Emergency Procedures
In the event of an injury, play will be stopped and assistance provided. Players are encouraged to familiarise themselves with emergency exits and first aid resources at the venue.
